Abstract Polymers with shape memory property and gel resistance to high temperature can be both used for plugging formation, but they also have shortcomings. Nevertheless, it is possible mix polymer(SMP) particles in the solution use formation stimulate them complete morphological transformation achieve purpose of plugging. This mutual combination method help reduce shortcomings between each other. Here, a series SMP different glass transition temperatures self-made were prepared. needs prepared into meet dimensional requirements materials, retain pressure bearing capacity. The composition thermal properties characterized by FTIR DMA. performance mechanism composite systematically studied. results show that addition could improve mechanical strength system, viscosity stabilize bridging structure formed at cracks. expected potential material.
